Jacob Alon releases his debut album, In Limerence, on Island, produced by Dan Carey, with Alon crashing with Carey during its creation to work on new music centered around the theme of limerence—the intense, often obsessive romantic longing for someone who may not reciprocate.
The album is a haunting, soul-baring exploration of this emotion, blending poetic storytelling, ghostly vocals, and intricate guitar work, drawing comparisons to Jeff Buckley and Nick Drake, and features acclaimed singles like "Fairy In A Bottle," "Confession," and "Liquid Gold."
